The 12 Days of Fitmas | Day 7 - ABC's of Fitness (a.k.a The Speed Ladder)

This is the ABC workout of Fitmas! That’s agility, balance, and coordination, so grab a speed ladder or mark one up with some chalk or tape and let’s go!

One round is five minutes long and consists of various footwork drills that are each repeated three times consecutively before moving onto the next footwork pattern. Perform the exercises for accuracy and work up the speed as your footwork improves. 

Repeat for four rounds total.  Rest up to three minutes between each round. 

The footwork patterns are as follows: 

  1. High Knees 
  2. Butt Kickers
  3. Lateral Shuffle
  4. Single leg hops (left and right)
  5. Jacks
  6. Lateral Cha Cha
  7. Skaters
  8. Bunny Hops
  9. Ali Shuffle
